DO NOT BUY A MINIATURE PINSCHER WITH THEIR EARS CROPPED!!!!!!
1. Many of the breeders that advertise their minpins with the ears cropped are done within 7 days from birth. The breeder takes a pair of scissors, cuts the ear straight up & then puts Super Glue on it. When a minpin is born it is about the size of a mouse. Can you judge each ear to be the same length? When the minpin begins to grow the ears will not match the dog's head. Each dog has a different size head. When the dog is full-grown you will have a dog with little horns on top of the head or one ear longer than the other. You may think that you are getting a good deal because your have saved yourself $100 because the ears are already cut. BUT, instead you will end up with a dog that you will not like.
2. With many of the minpins the ears stand naturally. If you wish to have the ears cropped, I recommend it be done professional by a vet between the ages of 4 months to 1 year. A vet will reshape, sculpture, and contour the outer ear flap in order to achieve an ear that will be erect, balanced and in proportion to the dogs head and body.
3. Being an experienced breeder you don't know how many people
I have talked to wish
that they would have known this.
4. By buying a puppy you are making an investment into your family. When the puppy gets older you want something that looks good, not something that you will be disappointed with.
REMEMBER THIS NEW PUPPY WILL BE PART OF YOUR FAMILY !!!!!!!!
